Hi Southern Bird! We don't know what kind of dog he is. When people ask, my mom says he is an "American Cutie." We got him through an interesting series of circumstances which I'll post about someday. I just looked up "Havanese" and his temperment matches the description. He is VERY smart. I know everyone says that about their dogs, but he really is. He must know the meaning of 50 distinct words. When we tell him that his feet are dirty, he runs and jumps in the bathtub. Then he turns and lets us spray each foot clean, holding his feet up for us as we spray them. I could go on and on and on... :)
