I was just realizing how much ADD affects my life. I don't know how to explain it in words. I hope this picture expresses some of the experience viscerally and visually. I have a hard time transitioning from task to task. So, it's as if I can't break things down into smaller chunks in my mind. So, I feel like I need a large chunk of time to do a whole task in, like I can't do it in little segments. Also, I feel like I need to go home or be by myself to re-orient to move to the next activity. I know it's partly chemical, and I deal with that by eating well (whenI remember to go grocery shopping,) and taking supplements. I recommend The Mood Cure by Julia Ross. I also think there must be some way to re-educate my brain. Physical movement helps me and I think NLP could help me think more effectively, it's helped me in other ways.
